PianoFOURte presents appealing performances of a wide variety of music. Concerts include a combination of piano ensemble music featuring piano duets at one piano and two-piano music utilizing either four or eight hands. Transcriptions of orchestral and chamber music constitute much of PianoFOURte’s repertory, which is enhanced with newly-commissioned works specifically for two pianos, eight hands. Full length concerts are generally 75-90 minutes in length and can be altered for school audiences or less formal programming.

“I was elated to hear the superb recital by PianoFOURte! Interesting and appealing programming, virtuoso performance throughout, immaculate ensemble playing, a convincing audience hit! I hope we may be given the occasion to hear the group again. Bravo!!”

“PianoFOURte has a wonderful sense of ensemble, and each of the professional-caliber players brings a level of artistic playing to the performance that is simply wonderful.”
Dr. Jay Gilbert, Director of Instrumental Music, Doane College

"It is my great pleasure to write a few words about PianoFOURte, one of the
most exciting concerts to be featured on our Series. Not only was the
performance musically outstanding in every regard, but from the very beginning
the audience was caught up in their artistry and joy. You must hear this
ensemble! They were the first musical group to receive a standing ovation
twice: once at the end of the program where the audience leapt to their feet
even before the players had left the piano bench, and once again after their
encore. Not only are they marvelous players, but they are fun to host and
delightful people. They come with my highest recommendations after 17 years of
planning, designing and running a Music Series here at First Methodist. I
would not hesitate to have them come again!"
