Make Yourself at Home
This program will make your audiences feel right at home. This relaxed musical experience highlights the salon (living room) concerts of the 1800s. Performed in private home settings, this delightful, interactive concert educates as well as entertains. Concert pianist Ken Hoppmann will be your host as you sample delicious "bon-bons" of the
grand-piano-1850-sm
salon repertoire!

Ken presents energetic and enthusiastic interpretations of the finest in keyboard literature. Recitals are generally 75-90 minutes in length and include well-known favorites as well as music by lesser-known composers. Ken is also available to appear in concerto performances with orchestra.

“He performed with great interpretation and feeling and without the emotional overload typical of many young piano virtuosos. I would recommend him without reservation and, yes, we will have him back.”
—Ed King, President
Fairbury Concert Association
