Ken Hoppmann
Ken Hoppmann maintains an active schedule as a performer, teacher, and arts manager. As a concerto performer, Hoppmann has performed with the Ft. Collins Symphony Orchestra, Casper
Symphony
Orchestra, and the northern Nevada Chamber
Orchestra. He has performed numerous recitals and
concerts with the Wyoming Council of the Arts
“Artists in Education” program, the University of
Wyoming Cultural Outreach Program, and the Nebraska
Arts Council Touring Program. Hoppmann’s CD, “Ken
Hoppmann-LIVE!” features live performances of works
by Bach, Schumann, and Liszt. Ken received his
bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University
of Wyoming, a Doctor of Musical Arts degree from
the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and a Doctor of
Music degree from the American Conservatory of
Music. He received additional training in Vienna,
Austria and Heidelberg, Germany under the
respective auspices of the Fulbright Scholarship
Program and the German Academic Exchange Program
(DAAD). Dr. Hoppmann has served on the faculties of
Doane College, Concordia University, Southeast
Community College, and Union College. He also owns
and operates Hoppmann Piano Studio and Larette
Artist Management in Lincoln.
