Ken presents energetic and enthusiastic interpretations of the finest in keyboard literature. Recitals are generally 75-90 minutes in length and include well-known favorites as well as music by lesser-known composers. Ken is also available to appear in concerto performances with orchestra.

“Ken Hoppmann’s brilliant interpretation of Gershwin’s “Rhapsody in Blue” resulted in an immediate and enthusiastic standing ovation. Ken’s playing was exciting and stunning, but also sensitive and honest—always musically pleasing. Hoppmann is a true professional in every sense of the word.”
—Lynn Rubel, Manager
Northern Nevada Concert Orchestra Association

“Ken’s relaxed, personal style carries over into his music. His audiences find him very personable and his performances are always comfortable and fun. He is a very talented pianist, dedicated to his music and to showcasing the classics for communities. I wholeheartedly recommend Mr. Hoppmann for any type of musical performance.”

“The crisp non-legato, the lovely sparkle of the Courante, the yearning beauty of the Sarabande, the exuberance of the Gigue…I was delighted to hear my favorite (Bach) French Suite on the air!”
